About the Role

Our client, a leading global professional services and consulting firm, is hiring a Principal Compensation Consultant for its Career Consulting team. The firm helps organizations of every size, from multinationals to growing local companies, design and carry out workforce strategies using rigorous analytics and data-driven insights.

As Principal Compensation Consultant, you’ll lead large-scale projects, coach team members, and solve complex compensation challenges. You’ll partner with senior management and HR leaders to build compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate talent, and you’ll support business development.

What You’ll Do

• Structure, direct, review, and interpret analyses performed by project teams
• Develop compensation strategies, philosophies, and programs that meet clients’ attraction and retention needs
• Advise senior management on pay strategy (structure and competitiveness), job architecture design, and digital activation of these designs
• Work in an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools
• Manage day-to-day client interactions and build strong relationships
• Guide and develop junior team members and ensure quality deliverables
• Generate revenue by winning new clients, extending engagements, and finding cross-selling opportunities

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
• 8+ years of compensation consulting experience with proven subject-matter expertise
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and complex client engagements
• Deep knowledge of compensation strategy, compensation technology, incentive plan design, market analysis methods, and regulatory compliance
• Strong client relationship skills, including advising senior executives
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving and coaching
